Our Talon ANPR system provides an ideal means of enforcement for the payment of road, bridge or tunnel tolls. High accuracy is of prime importance, as well as high speed of operation. Plates can be automatically cross referenced against a database of registered or unregistered vehicles to act as an enforcement system.

The application operates by the tolling system interrogating a vehicle and finding that it is not tagged or it has no credits remaining on the in car unit. A message can then be sent to Talon causing it to identify the licence plate number and to take a supporting picture. This can provide evidence to take action against the offending vehicle.
