Appian wins new international orders totalling £490,000

Appian has won new international contracts worth a total of £490,000 in the Middle East and the US.
In the Middle East the Company has won orders totalling £400,000. These include the installation of ANPR technology to improve security at a further two prestigious hotels in the United Arab Emirates and a £150,000 initial order for a nationwide counter terrorist ANPR network. The system, which will utilise the Company's Talon ANPR and Cobra camera products, will be used by government security agencies. Following successful installation, a substantial order to expand the system is expected within the next 12 months.
Appian has also won contracts totalling £90,000 from three new US Police Department customers. The Company will be supplying mobile ANPR systems to be installed into vehicle fleets to assist in crime prevention.
Appian Chairman Pat Ryan said, "These international contracts show the success we are achieving in overseas markets. Our reputation as a leading supplier of ANPR technology continues to spread and we expect significant growth in this sector from international police and commercial customers."
