The SHARK ANPR software is an easy to use, quick to set up and highly flexible  Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) software application.

It represents excellent value for money and can be bought very simply ‘off the shelf’ as a software only offering or inclusive of cameras and a processor as a complete system. The Shark ANPR engine consistently captures vehicle number plates in excess of 90% accuracy. Shark can be purchased with a number of different specifications for ease of use. It has an operator interface controlled via a simple menu system and is capable of using multiple databases including the Police National Computer. Shark is able to read all UK plates in all but the worst weather conditions.

The Shark ANPR software can manage and store data and is capable of raising alarms on hotlist databases. Once vehicle number plate is matched against the particular hotlist, the pop up visual and audio alarm is generated. Recognition and overview images of captured, registration numbers and passengers are stored as colour images and can then be exported as JPEG files.
